Superion Announces “SuperFAST 5K” Run
Superion’s inaugural SuperFAST 5K run in Greensboro, North Carolina, supports Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.)
Superion, an industry leader in public sector software solutions, today announced the inaugural Superion SuperFAST 5K run being held on Saturday, September 29. Bringing together employees, clients, and community members, the run is open to the public and will commence at 8:30 a.m., at Superion’s North Carolina corporate office, 4161 Piedmont Parkway, in Greensboro.
Proceeds from the run will benefit Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.), a nonprofit organization whose mission is to support families and colleagues of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty. C.O.P.S. helps these families rebuild their lives through peer support, counseling programs, and survivor retreats, among other activities.
“Making a difference in the communities we serve is deeply engrained in our company’s mission,” said Simon Angove, CEO. “By hosting this 5K, we reaffirm one of the core values that define our company culture: service. It’s just one way we contribute to the strength and vitality of our community while also honoring the memory of men and women who paid the ultimate price in service to their communities.”
The event is open to all who enjoy running, walking, strolling, or simply gathering in support of a healthy community. Participants can register and/or donate online at superionsuperfast5k.itsyourrace.com.
An upcoming 5K run is slated for early 2019 in Lake Mary, Florida, where Superion has its corporate headquarters.
